Advancing Multicultural Respect. 
Today’s leaders need to be effective in engaging and communicating with people of all cultures.   This workshop provides the opportunity to learn and practice multicultural respect while gaining wisdom on ways to foster effective partnerships and teams.

Ceremony Facilitation.  Ceremonies can serve as powerful tools to honor important family occasions while also nurturing love, communication and spiritual connection.  This workshop will present how to design and serve as a facilitator for ceremonies for family and friends towards nurturing inspiration and unity.  Dependent on the group the focus may be such ceremonial occasions as anniversaries, birthdays, baptisms, graduations, house warmings, memorials, quinceañeras, weddings, healings or special transitions.  

Family Activism for Personal and Family Success.  Family activism involves supporting family and friends to better support each other and our community. Clarify your goals for personal and family success, and learn tools to provide family and group leadership.  The focus includes co-powering communication, facilitation of family meetings, developing a family success plan, and the creation of traditions to support family well-being.  

Proactive Leadership:  Tools for Empowerment. 
Proactive leadership involves inspiring and empowering others to engage in effective action.  Deepen clarity of your purpose, strengthen self-confidence, and expand your wisdom for empowering others.  The focus includes such tools as co-powering communication, coaching, and facilitation to develop others as allies and collaborators to better our communities and society.  

The Razalogia Approach: Community Learning & Empowerment.  Razalogia means “learning of and for the people.”  This workshop is designed for activists and community service workers committed to building community and engaging community participants in developing knowledge and planning actions to address their unique concerns.   Health education workers, community organizing agencies and parent organizations have repeatedly found this workshop most valuable.

The Talking Stick:  A Tradition for Healthier Families and Groups.  Within many cultures the talking stick is used to facilitate deep listening and communication.  Learn how to utilize this tool to foster authentic dialogue, and healthier community, family or work groups.
